I’m taking on the challenge of walking 100 miles this October for my beautiful daughter, Mariah.
Mariah is 8 years old and she lives with epilepsy and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), facing seizures every single day — at home, at school, everywhere. Some days are so hard: she’s tired, she’s wobbly, and things that come easily to other children take so much more strength for her. But Mariah never gives up. She gets up, she smiles, she tries her best, and she’s brave beyond words — and that is my biggest inspiration.
I’m doing this because I want to show her: I see you. I’m right beside you. I will walk every step for you.
This is about more than just miles — it’s about raising awareness, standing with all the families navigating epilepsy, and proving that together we can keep moving forward, even on the hardest days. Every step is for Mariah, for her strength, her future, and to make sure she always knows she is loved, seen, and never walking this journey alone.
She’s my hero — and I’ll keep walking for her, always.
Every donation, big or small, means the world. It helps support vital epilepsy research, provides support for families like ours, and shows Mariah just how many people are cheering her on. If you can’t donate, please share this far and wide, spreading the word makes just as much difference.💜
