Walking 100 Miles for Ella-Rose and Epilepsy Awareness 💜
At just 3 years old, Ella-Rose is facing a battle that no child should have to endure. She is currently undergoing extensive tests with both St Thomas' Hospital, London and Birmingham Children's Hospital to determine the exact type of epilepsy she has.
Despite being so young, Ella-Rose has already been through more than most people experience in a lifetime. She is currently taking two different medications in an attempt to control her seizures, and heartbreakingly, she has been resuscitated twice.
Her journey is ongoing, with further tests, investigations, and treatment plans still ahead as specialists work to establish the precise form of epilepsy she is living with and how best to manage it.
To show our support for Ella-Rose and to raise awareness and funds for epilepsy research and support services, the team at Bridge Manor Care Home will be completing a 100-mile walk challenge.
Every step we take is for Ella-Rose and for all those affected by epilepsy. We hope to raise vital funds, increase awareness, and help make a difference for families facing similar challenges.
Please support us if you can. Together, we can help bring hope, understanding, and a brighter future for Ella-Rose and everyone affected by epilepsy.
