100 MILES 💜
In October, Dave and I are taking on a challenge. We’re going to run, jog, walk 100 miles to raise awareness and funds for Young Epilepsy.
Very recently, my handsome 13-year-old nephew Jacob was diagnosed with photosensitive epilepsy. As a family, we were pretty naïve about what that actually meant, until my sister and brother-in-law witnessed Jacob having his first seizure, quickly followed by a second.
I’m sure you can imagine how unimaginably distressing that was for them, and for all of us.
Since then, we’ve researched the absolute life out of his diagnosis and feel so much more educated about epilepsy and what Jacob is facing. So, Dave and I wanted to take on this challenge to hopefully raise awareness, educate more people and, most importantly, raise some money for young people suffering with Epilepsy💜
So, when you see me moaning daily on social media because I have to go out in the rain to get my miles in, hopefully you’ll feel sorry enough for me to chuck a few quid our way just to shut me up.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I apologise in advance for how bloody annoying I’m going to be over the next month! 😂💜
100 miles for you Jakey boy 💜
Go on my faves!👊👏🙌
